After softball, the rest of the weekend for me will be about beer and recovery.
Oh, I claim 1B on one of the teams. I'm feeling OK now, but 7 surgeries in 5 years has taken a toll.
Or would you prefer scooping my throws?
Sorry guys, no alcohol in the park.
Last summer I got thrown out of a church league slow-pitch softball game for bowling over (read: basically destroying) the second baseman going in upright as he was trying to turn a double play. Bunch of sissies.
We don't have barns filled with hay visitors can sleep in up here in the North, Georgia-boy.
Oh, what about Teal and Black? He's around somewhere.

Park in New Jersey and take the damned train. It's New York for god's sake.

May get lost, but I'm in for a Chicago game again.
I'll be hoteling somewhere on the island of Manhattan. I would assume UES, though I am biased towards Chelsea and the Garment District for hotels. Anywho. When's this Chicago thing? Have asstons of SkyMiles and the same amount of Marriott points. We we playing these things?
FWIW -- and very little since I'm more an attender than an organizer -- I might suggest a BBTF Chicago softball game in late July.... perhaps coinciding with Pitchfork (wknd of 7/19-7/21)... though, I'm less than impressed with the PF lineup thus far.

Just be sure the suite you book is big enough for the BTF after-party.
How dumb would I have to be to fly up to NY for this? This sounds like fun.
We're having a party in Sam's suite? Sweet! I can bring the gin. Somebody else bring the beer.
I'm also thinking expense to fly up early Saturday and leave Sunday. I hear those hotel rooms in NYC ain't cheap.
