Maybe shutting Strasburg down during the team's first pennant run in forever has something to do with inflated expectations.
#12 -- This is silly. Expectations aren't any higher this year b/c of the shutdown. They've been sky-high since the moment he became the consensus "greatest college pitching prospect ever" in 2010.
I thought you were a betting man? You shouldn't take the over on 43 more career WAR for any pitching phenom.
That's 10 well above average seasons. No young pitcher is an even-money bet to do that.
