Did anyone watch that game? I'm wondering why Tiago Splitter had such few minutes. Did not get a chance to watch it, but might try tomorrow.
hell, if the Kings were in the East they probably make the playoff
Forget the playoffs, the Kings might be a .500 team in the East. They have two really good players (Isaiah Thomas and Demarcus Cousins) at the two most important positions and finally seem to have some direction. Their team defense is much better this year than last despite having a bunch of terrible individual defenders. If McLemore develops into something (I think he will) their future looks pretty bright to me.
Paul Pierce will be out two to four weeks with a broken bone in his right hand, the biggest loss yet for the injury-plagued Brooklyn Nets.
Pierce has been diagnosed with a nondisplaced fracture of the third metacarpal of his right, shooting hand, the team said Monday. He was hurt Friday in the first half of a loss at Houston.
Would it be a record or something if Toronto make the playoff as the 4 seed with a record worse than the 8th?
Vasquez for Shumpert? hell, even Salmons for Fields just to get a stop gap? (helps Toronto too, Salmons is essentially an expiring.)
I think he's referring to a scenario where TOR wins the Atlantic division and is given a 4 seed despite their actual record being worse than whoever finishes with the 8 seed in the East.
I haven't yet. I've told my wife she should get me a ticket package for Christmas. I've seen some advertised that are around 75 bucks for 2 tickets to 3 games. I'm sure they're horrible seats, but still.
Plus I hope to get more free tickets from my work like I did last year. 3 of the 6 games I attended last season were lower bowl tickets given to me by the president of the company. It benefits me that A) he has season tickets, B) he's in his early 80's, so he can't make it to every game, and C) I'm one of the only die hard fans in the hallway and my cubicle is one of the closest to his office, so I'm one of the first people he approaches when he's got extras to give away.
