999, the number you dial in Great Britain for emergencies.
Derek Holland with the CGSHO.
Other than him, everyone else is freely available talent.
Awesome pitching matchup today between Corbin and Strasburg. Can't wait!
Too bad about Darren Daulton.
This Mets lineup is just phenomenally weak. With David Wright out of the lineup, the only legitimate major leaguer is Daniel Murphy.
Only faced 4 batters over the minimum: 2 hits, 2 walks, a CS, and a GIDP.
Why in Sam Horn is Baltimore advertising Sarasota?? Fred mistake-a-minute Manfra was just barking about a Sarasota beach towel and there are radio spots galore luring unsuspecting travelers in Baltimore to visit Sarasota. I've been to Sarasota. There's nothing there worth going out of your way to visit. Big deal.
Is Sarasota the city twinned with Baltimore or something?

* Sigh *. So fkucking depressing, but what the hell can you do.
I am a bit disappointed at how few Red Sox fans show up these days, though...
Wasn't someone here recently suggesting that Puig was already fading? Not seeing that.
On the Dodgers telecast tonight, they ran a twitter poll: Should Bruce Bochy select Puig as an All-Star? 90% voted yes tonight.
No doubt. On NESN you might get Stephen Drew twittered into the All-Star game.
But I think the 90% shows how strongly they feel about Puig in LA. Approaching legend status.
I sometimes wonder what it'd be like if NESN asked people who they thought should be an NL All-Star or if YES asked people who they thought the greatest Oriole of all time would be. It'd be interesting to see what other fanbases think/know of beyond their league/team.
