While nobody pays attention, the Rays will win the AL East.
I think I saw a stat the other day that the Orioles have the best record in baseball since Law made that proclamation last September, but maybe it was second best or something.
STL 73 48 0.603TBR 74 51 0.592ATL 72 51 0.585Orioles 73 52 0.584Cin 70 53 0.569NYY 70 54 0.565DET 69 55 0.556
In sewer ants run for Boston bottom of the 8th.
#56 - How are you compiling those stats? I poked around B-Ref for about 30 minutes and finally just downloaded the CSV of the Braves and manipulated it locally in Excel. There's got to be a better way!
Cfb, thanks for pulling the stats. So maybe not best or second best, but certainly a pretty darn good team.
Due to Official Baseball Rules - 4.13 (f) "When a rescheduled game is part of a doubleheader the rescheduled game shall be the second game, and the first game shall be the regularly scheduled game for that date."
Therefore, the Reds will bat last in the second game and the Giants will bat first. For statistical purposes the Giants are the "home team" for both games (at season's end the Giants should have 82 home games played and the Reds will have 80 home games).
I thought my restraint at the ballpark tonight was pretty ####### remarkable. That 10th inning was like child abuse in baseball form.
