I guess the new complaints about "breaking the page" are coming from people with tiny computer-like devices instead of computers. So is all use of the "code" tag bad now? Because nothing in yesterday's thread came close to being too wide for the page, for me. How do we know what the limit is?
Brad Hawpe is in the starting lineup for the Angels. I really thought he had retired last year. With Hawpe and Brendan Harris, the Angels are doing very well in terms of early-2000s prospects who flamed out several years ago.
Yep, dan uggla is not a defensive liability at 2nd. Keep telling yourself that.
Don't forget Jerome Williams!
Someone was just in here the other day claiming he was fine at 2nd.
And worst defensive second baseman EVER? Just no way.
Does the fact that I take great joy in watching Papa Grande continue to blow games make me a bad person?
Isn't it good that Benoit isn't the closer? The whole "ninth-inning leads are not the highest leverage innings" argument.
I think what upsets me the most about uggla at 2nd is the sheer number of double plays he does not turn. I just keep seeing him get perfect feed after perfect feed from simmons and #### up the turn.
o tip for page breaking ########. It doesn't just screw up people with small devices. It also screws up people who want to re-size their browsers to watch a game and surf the net on the same screen.
At any rate Detroit is trading for a closer. Who are we going to get gouged by to get one of those?
I wonder if Wright will heat up enough to get to 30 this year. I mean, it's a long shot, but I suppose possible.
Is the Mets pen worth a crap?
This cannot be a serious question.
He's on pace for 15. It's hardly a given.
CFB edit:I do acknowledge that in a game thread it might not be as good of an idea to present a chart.
That's all we are saying, during game threads.
