I love the way Segura was practically laughing about it afterward.
Harvey’s pitching today! So is Cat Latos’ dad! And Yu Darvish! And Cliff Lee! And Hyun-jin Ryu! And Clay Buchholz.
Basically, good pitchers are pitching today.
The record, I believe, is 37 pitchers, used by the 2002 Padres. (Bet you can't name more than two. Even if I tell you that five of them were named Jason and three named Kevin.)

I'm pretty sure about those three. After that. Um...
Jake Peavy? Is that too early?
Didn't Jesse Orosco have his last year in San Diego?
I see Dennis Tankersley, of all people, has also been mentioned.
How is that even possible? The Yanks could sure use him (or at least, the production he's given the Braves) these days.

Jayson Werth with a 3-run HR at Potomac. Now 7-for-12 on rehab at Class A. On track to come off DL for Nats Tuesday.
It probably doesn't qualify, but I've always loved Goat Anderson's one and only major league season, for the 1907 Pirates (who were a second place club). He hit .206 with a .225 SLP (he had three doubles, one triple, and one home run) in 510 PA as their regular right fielder.

The best part is Anderson's home run was allowed by Ed Reulbach. Reulbach didn't allow any other home runs in 1907.
No one else has ever reached 500 PA with six times as many runs as RBI.
the marathon ends at Petco.
So was this an impromptu advance celebration of the race?
I think the ump said something. He didn't go crazy until about 30 seconds after the ejection.
Ryu was scratched from his start against the Rockies.
