One head trainer, when asked last month about the popularity of fast-acting synthetic testosterone, replied, "I don't know anything about it." That's the kind of position -- either ignorance or complicity -- that helped put baseball into The Steroid Era in the first place.
Looks like the technology is available to catch synthetic testosterone. It would make sense to buy it and, if possible, track the ratios as the article describes. If MLB stays ahead of the curve on PED's the game is better off than the alternative - having fans argue about who takes what rather than baseball issues.
