the chances are that it's no one special and there's no better than a 1 in 5 chance I've heard of him
Are you talking about the Cubs or the Nationals?
Maybe they didn't want to announce his name until the team had a chance to contact him?
Could it be... Might we see... Brett Jackson, version 2.0.
I'm guessing Tyler Moore is probably getting sent down again.
Version 2.0's righthanded? That might explain all his K's batting lefty.
Here's our solution.

I think it's a possibility that the Cubs' top four outfielders all get traded this year. Schierholtz, DeJesus and Soriano being the other three.
I think I put about as much stock in that as Theo's June 30 statement that it was 50/50 whether the Cubs would make a trade before the deadline.
My thinking is that if the Cubs really wanted to do a deal he would accept it would be done. At this point Garza has all the leverage since there is essentially no risk in him testing the FA waters.
Most of this roster is likely to be traded, I wonder what the record is for number of players on a team who started the year with another org.
I'd be shocked if the top 3 such rosters don't have a teal fish stamped on them.
I think only the 1998 team did the complete teardown in season.
